1. Who we are

chinesezodiaccompatibility.com (“the Site”, “we”) is operated by Petr Kindlmann. Contact us via the contact form.

2. What we collect

  • Email address — only if you voluntarily submit it to subscribe to our newsletter. It is used solely to send you the newsletter and is not used for any other purpose.
  • Compatibility calculator inputs — zodiac selections are processed in your browser and reflected in the URL of result pages. We do not store individual results on our servers.
  • Standard server logs — IP address, browser type, referrer, request timestamps. Retained briefly for security and debugging.
  • Advertising and analytics cookies — see Section 4.

3. Third parties

  • Google AdSense — serves ads. Google may use cookies and identifiers to personalize ads. See Google's advertising policy.
  • Cloudflare — CDN, serverless hosting, and cookieless Web Analytics. Processes requests under Cloudflare's privacy policy.
  • Email delivery (Resend) — if and when we send a newsletter, email addresses are processed by Resend to deliver messages. We do not sell or share your address with any other third party. If we change email providers, this page will be updated to name the new processor.

4. Cookies

We use these cookie categories:

  • Necessary — required for the site to function.
  • Analytics — anonymous, cookieless usage statistics via Cloudflare Web Analytics. No cookies are set and no cross-site tracking is performed.
  • Advertising — Google AdSense; may be personalized or non-personalized depending on your consent.

For visitors in the European Economic Area, United Kingdom, or Switzerland, we use Google's certified Consent Management Platform (Google Privacy & messaging) to record your IAB TCF v2.2 consent before personalized ads are served. You can revisit your choices via the consent banner.

  • request correction or deletion;
  • withdraw consent for marketing emails at any time (unsubscribe link in every newsletter);

6. Children

The Site is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe we have, please contact us and we will delete it.

7. For entertainment only

Compatibility readings on this Site are based on traditional astrological frameworks (Theodora Lau's Triangle of Affinity for Chinese astrology; classical Hellenistic correspondences for Western signs). They are presented for entertainment and reflection. They are not psychological, medical, financial, or relationship advice.

8. Changes

We may update this policy. The “Last updated” date at the top of the page reflects the most recent revision. Material changes will be announced on the homepage for at least 14 days.
